Rattle is a word hunt served at a 1950s diner counter. Shake the cup and 16 letter dice clatter into a chrome tray. Find words by tracing across dice that touch, up, down, sideways or diagonally, using each die once per word. Let go and the word is served; slide back a step if you change your mind.
You have two minutes. Short words keep the score ticking over, but the long ones are where the points are: an eight-letter word is worth eleven. When the bell rings, the bill shows your score, your best word and the everyday words you walked past, each one ready to light up on the tray.
Every tray is rolled to have plenty of words in it, so there are no dud rounds. Each day there's also one shared tray, the same for everyone, so you can see who wrings the most out of the same sixteen dice. Pick from three looks: mint Formica, after-hours Neon night, or the Checkerboard floor.
