Big, clear cards. Every deal can be won.

Classic Klondike with huge corner numbers, free undo and hints, and no ads during a deal.

A game of Sunroom Solitaire on the sage green Garden table, ivory cards with large red and black corner numbers fanned in seven columns A hint lighting up the jack of diamonds and the queen of spades, with the words "Move the jack of diamonds onto the queen of spades" above the table Extra large corners with four-colour suits, blue diamonds and green clubs, and the deck on the left for left-handed play The Night table, pure white cards on black with yellow card backs, for the highest contrast The win screen, a yellow sun above "You won!" with the time, the number of moves and the win rate
How it plays

Sunroom Solitaire is the classic patience game, Klondike, laid out to be easy on the eyes. The corner of every card carries a big, bold number and suit, so you can read a whole column at a glance, and the court cards are a plain framed letter instead of busy artwork. Pick Large or Extra large corners, turn on four-colour suits, or put the deck on the left if that suits your hand.

Every deal has already been won by a solver, so you never sit down to a game that can't come out. Tap a card and it goes where it fits, or drag it yourself. Undo is unlimited, and a hint shows you a move that keeps the game winnable, in words as well as on the table. When every card is face up, the rest plays itself.

There are three tables to choose from: sage green Garden, light Linen for a bright room, and black-and-white Night for the strongest contrast. And there's a deal of the day, the same for everyone.

Cards you can read

Big corner numbers in a typeface made for low vision, plain court cards and a choice of Large or Extra large. Four-colour suits are one switch away.

Every deal can be won

Each deal has been played through by a solver before you see it, so a loss is never the deck's fault. The odds are never adjusted.

Help when you want it

Undo as often as you like. Hint shows a move that keeps the deal winnable and says it in words too. Both are always free.

Today's deal

One deal a day, the same for everyone, to solve at your own pace.

Tips

How to play well

  1. Turn up the hidden cards first

The face-down cards in the columns are what stand between you and a win. A move that turns one over is nearly always worth making before you draw from the deck.

  2. Save empty columns for kings

Only a king can go in an empty column, so don't empty one unless a king is waiting to move in.

  3. Not every card should go home at once

A low card on its pile can't be used to build in the columns any more. Sunroom only moves cards home by itself when they're no longer needed.

  4. Stuck? Ask for a hint

The hint looks ahead for a move that still leads to a win. If there isn't one, undo a few moves and try another way.

Questions

Asked and answered

Is Sunroom Solitaire free? Are there ads?

Yes, it's free to play in your browser. There are never ads during a deal and no banners. Your first five deals have no ads at all; after that an ad may appear between deals, at most once every five deals and never twice within three minutes. Undo and hints never need an ad.

Can every deal really be won?

Yes. Every deal comes from a list that a solver has won, draw one and draw three alike. You can still get stuck by the moves you make, which is what undo is for.

Draw one or draw three?

Draw one turns one card from the deck at a time and is the easier game. Draw three turns three and only lets you play the top one. Choose in Settings; the change starts with your next deal. Today's deal is always draw one.

Will I lose my game if I leave?

No. The deal you're playing is saved after every move, so you can close the page or take a call and carry on later.

Where are my statistics saved?
